Our Zilwaukee distribution yard is operated by Sargent Docks and Terminal, with proven capabilities for barge and vessel loading. Conveyor systems, storage domes, and rail infrastructure support efficient bulk material movement on the Great Lakes.
Stone Mountain is a Michigan-based source for authentic natural limestone and granite landscape stone. We quarry direct from our property in Goetzville — in the Detour area of the eastern Upper Peninsula — and distribute through our yard in Zilwaukee.
With 2.4 billion tons of proven reserves and an MSHA-certified mine site, we supply contractors, stone yards, and homeowners with real Michigan stone — from character boulders and palletized outcropping stone to crushed limestone gravel (21A, 22A, 23A), wallstone, steps, and processed veneer.
Our quarry sits on a large waterfront property with established access roads to the water and Raber Point. Stone moves by truck from the quarry today, with a port development project expanding waterfront access. Our Zilwaukee yard — operated by Sargent Docks — provides barge, rail, and truck distribution throughout Lower Michigan.
